I have attended over the years many networking events. The trouble is most invited speakers at networking events put on a great presentation however it is usually all about selling their product or service and not really about helping the audience get a better understanding of the issue at hand.
Social media is top of mind with everyone. I have a challenge for social media speakers.
Can you present a 30 minute presentation without selling your particualr product or service?
Do you really know your audience and their level of social media understanding?
Do you use jargon that most people really don’t have a good understanding?
Do you present the reasons why small business should be using social media and how it will proft their business and simple steps on how this can be accomplished?
If you can truly show me a presentation that fits this bill then I will highly recommend you and your services to all our network.
I challenge the social media experts and gurus to get back to me with a simple course of action that can be completed by any entrepreneur and that will improve their sales. You need to show proven results that you can accomplish this.
To make it even more challenging you have had to had experience with setting up clients who have never used facebook fanpages, linkedin, twitter or any other new social medias out there and that you have improved their sales and what time frame the sales improved along with how much time and effort the entrepreneur had to do.
If there is any expert out there who can accomplish this then I take my hat off to you and would definitely want to meet you.
